Sponsored by Kentucky’s Kenlake Lake State Resort Park, this road
rally held on Saturday March 28th near the Tennessee border
features outstanding scenery in the Land Between the Lakes region plus
visits to Ft. Donelson, a strategic military post in the Civil War; an Elk
& Bison Preserve and a stop at the Great Western Furnace built in 1854!
WHO: Sponsored by Kenlake State Resort Park, this road rally is open to all street legal vehicles. 50 vehicles
maximum.
ENTRY FEE: $149.00 per couple for 1 night stay, $274.00 per couple for 2 night stay.
WHEN: Friday, March 27th, through Sunday, March 29th, 2009. Rain or shine.
WHERE: Friday March 27th teams will arrive and have dinner at Kenlake State Resort Park, 542 Kenlake Road,
Hardin, Kentucky, 42048. On Saturday March 28th the Road Rally will begin and end at Kenlake State Park
followed by dinner Saturday evening, an overnight stay at the Lodge and breakfast Sunday.
TIME: Road Rally will begin Saturday at 9:00 am and will finish between 4:00 & 5:00 pm.
Course: Length is approximately 83 miles long. Will take about 7 hours to complete. 4 pit stops. Begins at the
Lake View Picnic Shelter in Kenlake State resort Park. The course will include miles of beautiful roads in the Land
Between The Lakes Region; a drive through a 700 acre Elk & Bison Preserve where you will be just feet away
from these magnificent creatures; a stop at the Great Western Iron Furnace; and a visit to the Civil War military
Post-Fort Donelson. For anyone interested in the Civil War this is a must see Fort with an outstanding view of
