Subaru Pulls out of WRC
Hard to believe, but with todays tough economy, Subaru, one of WRC’s toghest and
strongest competitors pulled from the World Rally Championships for the 2009
Season.
To me, I think this is wrong. One of the reasons the Subaru line is successful is it’s
presence in the rally circuit. Many a WRX was sold on Monday because it won a race
on Sunday.
Phooey to Subaru, Bad move, Sad move, Stupid move. It was your best advertising dollar
spent. I truly expect Subaru to lose more money because of thsi move than it will save by
not racing and supporting the sport. Shame on you!
